The lessons of the Intermediate Classes will focus on tying the
fishable life cycles of the mayflies, caddis, stoneflies and midges.
This intermediate level class will expand upon your skills and
knowledge to allow you to better represent the hatch.
Each student will be provided with enough materials for class and
home practice. Tools will be supplied at class.
As for the introductory classes, one of our resident professional
tyers will take you step-by-step through the tying of various patterns
for the various stages of insect development (nymph, larva, pupa,
emerger, dun, spinner). We will use a insect species to represent
the various stages the natural undergoes in its lifecycle. You will
learn a pattern which can be modified to represent each stage of
the natural's development.
Time: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Dates: Starting Saturdays in February. See
